Do You Live in BF HEVA?
It's amazing that this site is still bringing in traffic almost a year after I stopped writing on it. I now live in Batangas, but our ancestral home is still in BFHEVA. To me, it will always be home.
If you live in BF HEVA and you want to take on the role of unofficial BF HEVA journalist. Please do contact me at dan@dannybuntu.com so I could give you access to this blog as a writer.
That's right I am giving you the power to become the unofficial BF HEVA journalist.
What advantages will you get if you write here? You can promote a lot of things. Your business, your gimmicks and even your barkada. :)

Paranaque folk hit TRO on water project

MANILA, Philippines – Some 2,000 angry residents of BF Homes subdivision in Parañaque City held a rally early Saturday, opposing a court order which has indefinitely suspended the installation of water lines to their homes.
Chanting “Tubig! Tubig!,” the residents, mostly wearing white shirt with text “Tubig na naging bato pa” marched from the village church up to a park near the headquarters of United BF Homeowners Association Inc. (UBFHAI) on Banzon Street."

This whole thing is a very sad story on us residents' part. I've seen some "counter banners" which proclaim that BFHI is also a private business and as such they are also entitled to equal application of the law.
I'm not a lawyer but in my own layman opinion, their argument may hold ground. That as a private business they are also entitled to equal protection of the law.
However, they should take into account the human consideration that because of their inability to run their "business" a lot of people are severely affected.
In my analysis, this sounds more like pure and simple "greed".
Because of their incompetence, they were not able to run their business properly.
Because of their incompetence, their business was not able to provide a basic commodity to thousands of people.
What kind of business operates without any kind of service or goods?
So what is their business selling? Air?
It seems that is what we may be getting after all from these greedy people - AIR.

11 August, 2009: BFHEVA Goons
Lately I've been noticing a trend where there are armed goons inside the subdivision. They water their garden with caliber .45 pistols inside their trousers, they go to the store with no uniform but with sidearms and in one instance I saw one carrying an assault rifle while alighting a van.
No these are not ordinary pellet shooters or air soft guns. These are the real things. Most of the time, when they show their sidearms in plain public view these are the times when their Very Important Amo are inside their homes.
I hope that the Board of Directors address this issue as it has done so with other community concerns like dog poop, garbage collection, ID cards of employees, dog leashes, water, security, entrance of homeowners to their own house, and so.
Ok, so they are VIA, can they keep their goons inside their houses with them and not in the streets of BFHEVA? Or if they want they can leave their side arms inside their homes when they are watering their garden or buying kendi at the store?
After all this is BF Homes Executive Village -not BF Homes Drug Lord Village or BF Homes Jueteng Lord Village or BF Homes Trapo Village. Tama ba?
We are the ones who feel unsafe here with these armed goons.
Parang pelikulang Tagalog tuloy ang itsura natin dito sa loob ng subdivision. Mukang mga kontrabida kasi ang mga goons nila.
